Nagios doesn’t have very good method of defining Business Processes and linking them to nagios alerts. Creating dependencies, AND and OR between backend services. We used nagiosbp, but had to edit the configs with vi, the much appreciated thruk tool was a bit unreliable load wise. Anyway, Claude dealt with this in days. From a managers point of view, we see our priority services, and they can drill down to the component parts, and each is tagged to nagios alerts in real time.
It has an interactive builder, Azure login facility, and gets fed with livestatus. Right now its new but I think this might be of use to people out there in the long run. I would need to work on making it available.
